The petite 19-year-old South Carolina native with flawless skin and sun-streaked blond hair, not only has the look of a on-screen ingénue but also has the resume—and acting chops—to become the next big thing. Currently charming viewers in CW’s drama Life Unexpected, Robertson grounds the critically acclaimed show with her refreshingly down-to-earth character Lux Cassidy, a teenager raised in foster care who tracks down her biological parents. Though the show’s premise sounds heavy on paper, Robertson infuses her character with a deft blend of emotional savvy and delightful spirit, a combo that adds up to a truly engaging performance.
